The first day of this tour will serve as an introduction to the country. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, the professionals of Egipto Exclusivo will be waiting for you. First, an assistant to welcome you at the terminal and help you with visa procedures. And secondly, our chauffeur who, in a private vehicle with all the comforts, will transfer you to your hotel in the capital.
At this hotel, after the relevant check-in for the first three nights of the trip, we will give you a small briefing with all the details about your tour of Egypt: the ‘all-inclusive’ cruise, the planned guided tours, etc. In addition, we will answer questions and give you useful tips for getting around in your free time, which you could already have this afternoon if the flight schedule allows.
The second day will begin with a varied breakfast at the hotel, a service that you will enjoy all 8 days of the program. Then our chauffeur will pick you up at the door to board our agency’s comfortable vehicle, as everything included in this tour of Egypt is of the highest quality.
In the necropolis of Giza, the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus await you. The first was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and is also the only survivor. It bears the name of the pharaoh of the Fourth Dynasty who ordered it to be built some 4,500 years ago to house his tomb and thus achieve eternal life after death. His son Chephren and his grandson Mycerinus did the same, completing the site with other constructions. For example, the Great Sphinx of Giza, a colossal statue half lion and half man that could represent Chephren.
With the help of our official guide, you will discover all the corners of the archaeological site and the secrets of these great characters. And you will do the same, shortly after, in the Grand Egyptian Museum, a site inaugurated in 2025 with all the pomp it deserves: it is the largest archaeological museum in the world and exhibits authentic treasures of the Pharaonic civilization, such as the funerary trousseau from the tomb of Tutankhamun (golden throne, gold mask, etc.), the transcendental Stele of Restoration, the colossal statue of Ramses II, and the solar boat of Cheops. All this in a spectacular building, designed by Heneghan Peng Architects.
Lunch on this day will be held at a local restaurant in the area, while in the afternoon the return to Cairo is scheduled with our vehicle. And at the hotel, another night of rest.
In the cultural aspect of this tour of Egypt, not everything included in the program is visits to monuments from the Pharaonic era. And you will discover this on this third day, in which the city of Cairo will become one of the best surprises of the trip. To discover it with energy from minute 1, you will have at your disposal the hotel breakfast and the vehicle with chauffeur from our agency, as well as an official guide.
The visits of this day begin in the hills of Mokattam, specifically in the fortress that crowns one of them: the Citadel of Saladin. It is the great legacy of this military leader in Cairo in the 12th century, although it was completed and expanded in the following centuries. In fact, its most outstanding monument dates from the 19th century: the Mosque of Alabaster, which we will be lucky enough to visit, as it is open to all types of tourists, whether Muslim or not. Its beauty is captivating, especially in the prayer room and in the tomb of Mehmet Ali.
After exploring the Citadel and its interesting corners, we will move to Islamic Cairo: the part of the city that began to take shape from the 7th century, after the Arab conquest. Its maximum splendor arrived from the 10th century, with the Fatimid, Ayyubid, and Mamluk dynasties. An essential place here is the picturesque Khan el-Khalili bazaar (14th century), which is a labyrinthine bazaar where you can get in touch with traditional Egyptian crafts.
Our urban tour will also include another historic and transcendental area: the Coptic Quarter. The tradition of this branch of Christianity considers that the Holy Family (Mary, Joseph, and the Child Jesus) lived in this area when the city of Cairo had not yet been founded and here there was only a small urban nucleus next to a military settlement (the so-called Babylon Fortress). The places related to this stay are now sacred sites for this religion, as we will discover in the churches of the area: the Cave Church or the Church of San Jorge.
Therefore, you will enjoy an urban visit of practically the entire day. For this reason, lunch is included, and it will be in a local restaurant that we will reserve for you. Back at the hotel, you will spend the third and last night there.
This fourth day of the program is, in turn, the first of this tour of Egypt with ‘all-inclusive’, as all meals will be covered. You will start the day with your corresponding breakfast at the hotel and then check out. Our chauffeur will be waiting for you at the door to take you to Cairo airport to take a domestic flight to Aswan.
Upon your arrival in Aswan, again, we will receive you in another vehicle to head directly to the Temple of Isis in Philae. An official guide will accompany you to discover this fascinating monument: it is the last great temple of Ancient Egypt, with the last hieroglyphs of which there is evidence, at the end of the 4th century. It was dedicated to Isis, mother goddess and protector of magic, and that is precisely what is breathed here: magic and charm for the beautiful combination of architecture and nature.
After the visit of this temple, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO within the site ‘Nubian Monuments, from Abu Simbel to Philae’, we will move to Aswan to check in and have lunch on the boat of this tour of Egypt, all-inclusive from this moment (without drinks). The afternoon will be free for those who wish to rest on board or go out to get to know this surprising city, the southernmost in the whole country and bordering Lower Nubia for centuries. Therefore, the culture of the Nubian people is one of the great attractions of this city, both in its villages and in its museums. Elephantine Island, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the mausoleum of the Aga Khan are some of the proposals for this moment.
At the end of the day, while the boat remains moored in a dock on the Nile River, there will be time to dine on board and spend the first night in your comfortable room. It should be remembered that the cruise of this tour of Egypt, in addition to being all-inclusive, has a 5-star or higher rating, due to its magnificent facilities and services on board.
With an early breakfast, you will start the fifth day of this tour, as we will leave early for Abu Simbel: these spectacular temples are located about 280 km to the south and we will travel to them by road. They are a World Heritage Site and are considered by locals as the Eighth Wonder of the World, as they leave their visitors speechless. Ramses II was its great architect, in the 13th century BC, presenting himself as an authentic god in his colossal sculptures. His wife, Nefertari, is also a prominent protagonist in the smaller temple, a rarity that demonstrates the special bond that united them.
Also extraordinary was the Abu Simbel salvation project in the 60s of the last century: threatened by the rise of the Nile by Lake Nasser and the Aswan Dam, it was moved stone by stone to a higher level, the current one. With our guide, you will learn all the secrets of its original construction and its recent reconstruction.
Upon returning from Abu Simbel, navigation on the Nile begins, one of the most anticipated moments of this tour of Egypt. And with everything included on board, the experience will be most special. Here you will have lunch while the riverside landscape of this mythical river slides before your eyes: in rocky and steep stretches, but mostly green and lush, with a channel dotted with islands, dahabiya and feluccas.
The first stop of the crossing will be at the temple of Kom Ombo, an architectural jewel of the Ptolemaic era. We will also visit its annex Crocodile Museum. In this sacred site, Sobek was venerated, a god represented with this animal so numerous here centuries ago. Therefore, many are the mummified specimens that can be contemplated, as well as reliefs and other objects of great value.
Back on the cruise, navigation continues to the city of Edfu, which we will access the next day. Then, it will be time to enjoy dinner on board and rest in the room, while the boat remains moored on the shore.
Sixth day of this tour of Egypt, and all-inclusive again, since it is the second day of navigation and the third that you will use the boat for meals and accommodation. In this case, breakfast on board will be the prelude to the great visit that awaits you in the morning: the temple of Edfu. It is the second largest in all of Ancient Egypt, after Karnak, so you will enjoy spaces as monumental as its entrance pylons and as sacred as its Hall of the Barque. Of course, the tour will be guided, as in all the monuments of the tour.
Back on the boat, time for lunch on board and continue sailing downstream, crossing the famous Esna Lock. Soon after we will arrive in Luxor, where some of the ‘highlights’ of the program await you, as it is also listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In this case, we will visit those located in the urban area, on the eastern bank of the Nile and, therefore, on the remains of ancient Thebes. This name refers to what was the Egyptian capital in the times of the Middle Kingdom and New Kingdom, as well as a center of power some time later due to its influential and powerful Clergy of Amun. The Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak will immerse you in that era, in which both sites were united by an avenue of sphinxes of 3 km. Its majestic columns, pylons, and courtyards are some elements that remind us of its past grandeur.
After such an intense program, dinner and the rest of the night will be most restorative. And both things will be done on board the boat, moored on the banks of the Nile, in one of its most sacred sections.
On this seventh day of the tour of Egypt, the ‘all-inclusive’ ends, as we will leave the cruise ship throughout the day. Breakfast, on the other hand, will be on board, something fundamental to face a morning full of great monuments: those located on the western bank.
Our road route will take us through the famous Valley of the Kings, where you will discover the breathtaking tombs of the great architects of the monuments of Luxor and other cities: Seti I, Ramses III, and many others. We will also arrive at the foot of the Colossi of Memnon, colossal sculptures that would represent Amenhotep III, according to the main hypotheses. And we will visit the funerary temple of Hatshepsut, queen-pharaoh key in the history of that kingdom, who here bequeathed us an impressive and unique monument of its kind.
After finishing the road route, we will return to the cruise to check out and collect the suitcases. After that, we will transfer you to Luxor airport, where your flight to Cairo will be waiting for you. And just after landing in the capital, the last night of the hotel awaits you, in this case next to the airport.
The eighth day is the epilogue of the trip. After breakfast at the hotel, you will head to the airport to take your flight back home. Therefore, our services end here, with the hope of having provided you with the best experience. And with the desire to see you again in the future, as we offer many other all-inclusive tours of Egypt, both on the beach and in the desert and in other destinations in the country. See you soon!
